iPod Marketing is a term that I just dreamed up … here’s why!

Some call me crazy, but I know what works and what doesn’t !

Tonight my 12 year old son asked me, “Dad can you show me how to get some signs up for me iPod offer ?”

Now he is a crafty fellow, and has worked out his business plan well before Adam was a boy. He’s got his sights set on a new iPod (well actually a new iPad and iPhone as well, anything that Apple can offer he’s wanting to get his hands on!)

He wants LEADS and is asking me HOW TO DO IT.

iPod Marketing 101.

On this point, this is exactly the sort of thing that we do at www.buildyourdownline.org - to locate people that you want to build your niche or MLM product in.

Let’s look at iPod Marketing 101 in a little more detail.

STAGE ONE: iPod Marketing 101

Righto, he picks his incentivized affiliate offer from freebie jeebies (and Dad has helped him with the initial 10 quid deposit), so now he’s chasing a few people who are TWEETING that they are looking for iPad’s, iPods, and the like.

Now let’s get this point across right now: if you’re looking to recruit people into your downline using Twitter, then you are looking for people IN REAL TIME.

There’s no sense on following up on Tweets from a month ago, a week ago, or even 2 days ago. The TWEETS need to happen in the last hour or so – the closer to REAL TIME that you can get. I reckon 10 minutes or less is best for quick response

STAGE TWO

So next, we go to Twitter, and use the Search Facility. You end up with a link like this: http://twitter.com/#search?q=want%20ipod

Now what appears on your screen is the list of people that are after an iPod, because you entered the search term “want iPod” into Twitter.

Notice that new tweets will scroll onto the screen in REAL TIME as you watch, because people all over the world are wanting to chat and tweet. This gives you an Unlimited Audience potential – so choose a HOT MARKET and start searching.

A Hot Market is where you see a new tweet every 10 to 20 seconds or so.

Anything less and you could be waiting all day … Note that not everyone who makes a tweet actually wants to get something – they may be having a gripe about getting out of bed or how the weather is affecting their hormones …

So make sure you are getting plenty of tweets per minute and you will have plenty to respond to!

STAGE THREE

The beaut thing about Twitter is that once you find a hot market that people WANT (like people who want iPods, iPads, iPhones, etc) then you can send them a short tweet (message) WITHOUT their permission.

They are not on your subscriber list, but most Twitters are open to receiving suggestions SO LONG AS YOU DON’T SOUND LIKE A MARKETER !

Make your responses very friendly, not overly friendly, and watch out for replies to your Tweet. If you get a Tweet back from someone that you sent the message, then reply honestly and immediately – else you’ll lose your contact.

“Does iPod Marketing Work” Sure Does !

STAGE FOUR

Follow up!

My son posted about 20 quick Tweets using this iPod Marketing technique and got 2 signups … all within 10 minutes. He only needs to do this for a couple of hours (and that’s nothing to a kid on a laptop with a few hours to kill) and he’ll meet his quota of new signups.

Once they have signed up for your offer, then you may have to follow them up. Their name and email details will be in your affiliate account area at Freebie Jeebies, and you can send them a quick email to let them know that the offer is genuine, and to invite their friends.

You can send them back to this page if you like, which will help them in their efforts to find a few people to sign up under them.

STAGE FIVE

Rinse and Repeat

It’s easy once you know how, right ?

So why stop there – continue with this and in no time you’ll be able to reward yourself and get your own iPod, iPhone, iPad and anything else for just a FRACTION of the price you’d be expected to pay for in the shops.

Are you ready for a piece of the pie ?

Go now forth and use iPod Marketing to your full advantage!
